MAINTENANCE Foreman / Crew LEader

The Maintenance Foreman/Crew Leader must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of Landscape Maintenance to include: cleanups, mowing, mulching, pruning, trimming, edging, weed whacking, bed maintenance, fertilizing, etc.; operating all equipment, ordering correct materials; and interfacing with customers, sub contractors, and suppliers.  Requires minimal supervision and performs all functions in a safe manner and while directing a crew of two to four employees.  The Maintenance Foreman/Crew Leader must also attend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job while creating and maintaining a professional job atmosphere. 

Skill set and educational requirements: 

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

• Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy.

• Have a clean criminal record.

• Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility.

• Physically able to handle the work load of a Maintenance Leadman and/or Laborer

• Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.

• Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

• Must be able to pass your Certified Landscape Technician test.

• Able to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner on a daily basis.

Pay range: $15.00-$18.00

Maintenance Leadman

The Maintenance Leadman must be generally familiar with and in the process of learning all aspects of Landscape Maintenance to include: cleanups, mowing, mulching, pruning, trimming, edging, weed whacking, bed maintenance, fertilizing, etc.; operating all equipment, ordering correct materials; and interfacing with customers, sub-contractors, and suppliers. Requires minimal supervision and conducts all jobs in a safe manner and while helping to direct a crew of two to four employees. The Maintenance Leadman must also attend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job while helping to create and maintain a professional job atmosphere.

Skill set and educational requirements: 

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy

• Have a clean criminal record.

• Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility.

• Physically able to handle the work load of a Maintenance Leadman and/or laborer.

• Able to lift 50 pounds without any assistance.

• Able to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner on a daily basis.

Pay range: $14.00 - $16.00

Maintenance Basic Laborer

The Maintenance Basic Laborer must have a positive, “can-do” attitude, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, dress appropriately, be punctual, and follow all instructions given by the Maintenance Foreman or Leadman.

Skill set and educational requirements:

• No previous landscape maintenance experience needed.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

• Posses clean driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy.

• Have a clean criminal record.

• Legal documentation to verify employment eligibility.

• Physically able to handle the work load of a Maintenance Leadman or Laborer

• Have full range of mobility in upper or lower body.

• Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

• Have reliable transportation to/from work.

Pay range: $12.00-$14.00
